The Ph.D. student is expected to present a paper at the NAKE Day, preferably in the second year when she/he is also formulating her/his thesis proposal. The complete paper should be sent to the NAKE secretary one month before the NAKE Day. The Director will invite one of the NAKE Fellows to act as discussant. The objective is to give the graduate students some experience in presenting their research before they do so at major international conferences. In this way, they also get more feedback, so that they can revise their paper in light of the comments and suggestions received at the NAKE Day.
