Relations between government policies and the (own) interest of participants in the political decision-making process (politicians, bureaucratics, voters, interest groups); Determinants of political influence (among which, information transmission); Economic models with endogenous government behaviour; Impact of emotions on decision making; development of positive/negative social ties; Experimental (laboratory) study of decision making, in particular concerning issues of public economics (e.g., provision of public goods, lobbying/rent-seeking).
