First-Year Research Master

During the first year of the research master each graduate student is expected to obtain an all-round education in the basic principles of Economics and Econometrics at a graduate level. The objective of the first year--which students follow at their home university or at a partner university--is to ensure that each student has a common background. In this way, the first-year program provides a foundation for the centralized teaching program of the second year of the Research Master.

The first year of the Research Master typically covers graduate courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and a number of elective courses each of which yields 6 ECTS.
